Ok if your PSP is a 3000, than there is NO WAY, it can have 3.61. The lowest it can have is 4.01. Oh and if it does have 3.61, then either a psp 1000 or 2000. Oh and updating it normaly will screw it up cuz u need custom firware (cfw) not official firmware (ofw). You can upgrade your m33 though. You get the official 4.01 updare and rename it to 401.pbp then get the 4.01 m33 update named eboot.pbp and put them in da same folder "UPDATE" then just update it. Oh and after that get 5.00 m33 by following the same instructions. You cant skip from 3.61 to 5.00 thats why you must go to 4.01 then to 5.00. Hope this helped!
